fucked up and downloaded a trojan (i think)

hey guys please help me! i downloaded a torrent that contained malicious files (i know, i know stupid) and ive been trying to delete them. im currently doing a full scan with avira and my windows defender says that theres no threats anymore. i deleted all the temporary files that i could. how do i know if my pc is really safe?

windows said that there were like 4 trojans on my pc and also gave me a bunch of ransomware notificstions, but it wouldnt let me delete them in the app somehow. so i wiped all of my downloads and temporary files and rebooted my pc around 3 times. like i said im running a full scan with avira but will that be good enough?
